About the Band
NeverWhas is a rock band that consists of 3 brothers and a good friend from the St. Charles and Sycamore, Illinois area outside of Chicago who are dedicated to writing and performing all of their own original music.
We feel our music has a unique style of rock and roll. The contribution of each band member from the meaningful lyrics, the gritty vocal patterns, the rippin' guitar solos, the heart pounding bass lines and a song serving drumming style has created a great chemistry of Rock music sound.
Each band member has his own list of musical influences so it is difficult to detail what those influences are. Suffice it to say that the musical influences of the band are made up of a wide variety of musical interests that lends itself to the creativity of the band's music.
To date the band has written over 50 original Rock tunes and they have recorded 28 songs which, by the way, can be downloaded from various “E” stores ( check out the links on our Home Page ). The band plays live shows at various venues on a regular basis in the northern Illinois area.
The band has a large and growing fan base on the Jango.com web radio station with many positive fan comments regarding the band’s music. Listen to NeverWhas on web radio at www.jango.com and search for “NeverWhas”.
All in all we are proud of the music you will be listening to so thanks a lot for taking the time to check out our tunes!

NeverWhas - Solid Will Into Sacrifice (Independent)
A four-piece from Illinois, comprising three brothers and their buddy, NeverWhas are young, hungry and talented. Their music is tough, modern rock, which nods respectfully in the direction of bands like Metallica, Muse and Maiden, though they're instinctively carving out their own sound. Singer-guitarist Mike is in possession of a distinctive growl, the sort of rumble that raises the hairs on the back of the neck, on rock fans and wolverines alike, and guitarist Nik drops solos like glass confetti.
Considering their independent status "Solid Will Into Sacrifice" has a vast sound. It's epic and glorious, and no more so than on the title track, which is complex, grand, progressive and systematically heavy. It's an outstanding six minutes and deserves to propel them into major venues. Other tracks are almost as good. "Listen Closely" is high energy and aggressively succinct and "All Tech-no-logic" releases their inner Sabbath before mutating into something altogether more vital.
If any of the above is of interest, don't hesitate in tracking these guys down. Recommended.
